Young&Design
OBJECT
The Young & Design Competition is divided into two sections:
DESIGNforFURNITURE
It is the section that considers furniture and furnishing accessories made by an Italian company exhibiting at the Salone del Mobile / Fuorisalone during the Design Week (17-22 April 2018).
DESIGNforFOOD
It is the section that considers products, accessories, furnishings or furnishings for the kitchen and the restaurant displayed at the Salone del Mobile / Fuorisalone 2018 and the projects of residential or professional kitchens, restaurants or food places designed by young people under 35 made since January 2016 as of January 2018.
MEMBERSHIP
The competition is reserved for young designers / designers under 35.
Membership is free and must be done online on the platform

JURY
The Jury, as always coordinated by the architect Armando Bruno and chaired by the President of ADI, is composed of established designers / designers and chefs of great sensitivity and knowledge.
SELECTION
Among the submitted products / projects, 20 finalists will be selected for each section from the online exam. Among these, based on the jury visit, the winners will be identified: 3 for the DESIGNforFURNITURE section and 3 for the DESIGNforFOOD section. Awards are also provided by institutional supporters.
The awards event will be held on Friday 20 April 2018 during the Design Week and will be open to the world of design.
