Introduction
The municipality of Troia, in the province of Foggia, has launched a two-phase project competition for the construction of a new public swimming pool, intended for sports, recreational, and social activities.
Presentation
The public swimming pool must combine accessibility, flexibility, and sustainability, responding to the needs of the population, schools, and local sports associations. The functional program includes spaces for free swimming, courses for different age groups, aquagym, aquatic fitness, and rehabilitation activities, with special attention given to the inclusion of users with disabilities, children, and the elderly.
About the Project
The project must establish a balance between the building, open spaces, and green areas, enhancing its integration into the urban and landscape context. In addition, proposals should be oriented toward reducing energy consumption, using renewable energy sources, and optimizing installations, particularly regarding heating, ventilation, and water treatment.

The competition will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Urban quality and integration into the context (up to 20 points)
- Technical and architectural quality (up to 30 points)
- Environmental sustainability and innovative aspects of the applied materials and technologies (up to 30 points)
- Technical feasibility (up to 10 points)
