Communication Design Competition
BRIEF
Enter unpublished student work designed for a class assignment in 2018. Entries must have been produced during 2018 as an assignment, under the supervision of an instructor. Submissions can be by anyone associated with the entry. Work designed for the TDC and by the Chair and Judges is ineligible.
No identification of designer/submitter (e.g. business cards) may be attached to front or back of print entries, other than official Entry Forms.
Please note: Students are welcome to enter either personal or paid work (work not created for a class assignment) into the Communication Design Competition or the Typeface Design Competition. Please see Rules for a complete list of all competition guidelines.
A one-sentence description of the assignment and the name of the school and the instructor MUST be included on the front bottom of the entry, not the entry form. If entering in digital form, attach a text document with your one-sentence description.

AWARDS
In addition to being included as winners in the TDC competition’s world-traveling show, the TDC’s website, and The World’s Best Typography annual publication, judges will select a Student First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize. These top three honors each come with a cash prize of the following amounts:
Student First Prize: $1000
Student Second Prize: $500
Student Third Prize: $300
