About the Project
The Tamayouz Excellence Award includes several award categories, including:
- Dewan Award for Architecture: an annual competition empowering young architects worldwide to develop creative solutions for urban challenges in Iraq.
- Rifat Chadirji Prize for Architecture: a biennial competition promoting global innovation by generating design ideas to address urgent social and urban challenges in the Arab world.
- International Graduation Projects Award: a competition inviting architecture, urban planning, urban design, and landscape students worldwide to register and submit their graduation projects.
- Dia Al-Azzawi Award for Public Art: an award within the Tamayouz program celebrating and promoting the built and urban environment globally.
- Women in Architecture and Construction Award: an award recognizing and celebrating women who have contributed to the built environment in the MENA region.
- Middle Eastern Architecture Personality Award: an award recognizing individuals or organizations contributing directly or indirectly to the advancement of architecture in the Middle East.
