SITUÉR MILANO – DESIGN COMPETITION

1. Introduction

The SITUÉR MILANO – DESIGN COMPETITION is an opportunity for architects and designers to create a coordinated furniture collection for Situér Milano. The competition seeks to conceive three interconnected elements that express a coherent and recognizable language.

2. Presentation

Situér Milano invites architects and designers to create a furniture collection that reflects the brand’s identity. The collection must include one main element and two complementary elements, which are capable of expressing a coherent and recognizable language.

3. About the Project

The project must be conceived for domestic environments, commercial environments, or both. The collection should balance versatility with clarity of concept. Proposals must combine structural precision with refined details, utilizing materials such as steel, brass, and stainless steel.

4. Schedule

February 24, 2026: Registration begins;
May 29, 2026: Registration deadline;
September 4, 2026: Announcement of winners;
October 2, 2026: Proposal submission deadline;
November 2, 2026: Competition results announcement.

5. Prizes

1st Prize: €2,500 + production and commercialization of the collection + 4% royalties per product sold;
2nd Prize: €1,500;
3rd Prize: €1,000;
5 Honorable Mention Prizes: Coupon for a free competition registration;
10 Honorable Mention Prizes: Coupon for a free competition registration;
30 Finalists: Publication on Terraviva’s channels.

6. Jury

The jury will be composed of Camillo Castellani, president of Castellani.it S.r.l. and Situér Milano. He holds a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and has experience in emergency architecture projects and the adaptive reuse of spaces.
