BRIEF

Design competition for selection, pursuant to art. 152 paragraph 4 of Legislative Decree 50/2016, of best project, with level of depth equal to that of the first phase of a feasibility project technical and economic, for: Redevelopment of the Citizen Public Park (Parco della Concordia)
The place of execution is Roccadaspide (SA) – Parco della Concordia.
In detail, the competition provides for the submission of design proposals for the Retraining
of the Citizen Public Park (Parco della Concordia) as per the addresses provided in the
Municipal resolution no. 173 of 18/09/2017.
The aim of the design competition is the selection of design proposals for redevelopment of the Cittadino Public Park (Parco della Concordia) of Roccadaspide that responds to characters of multi-functionality and in particular the harmonization of the following functions and objectives:

social function;

naturalistic function;

recreational tourism;

function of contribution to health and well-being;

promotion and artistic fruition function;

Construction of parking areas;

Multipurpose structure used as an intercommunal covered market for ethnic products;

Arrangement of external areas to a public park;

Area used for an intercommunal open market;

Integration of the park with the historic center;

Playground area for children;

Revisiting the existing road layout;

Formulation of solutions consistent with the removal of architectural barriers and that encourage safe paths;

Infrastructure and sub-services.

In the proposed solutions the designers will have to formulate ideas – even alternatives – for the construction of a multi-purpose urban park, think of a design of the use and / or the organization of urban green spaces and the areas adjacent to the public park as components essential of the space of the Parco della Concordia, considering the theme of the green of furniture as space with a determining value for the daily life of the local community.
It is emphasized that the idea of a green project should be conceived according to the most Modern criteria sustainable management of urban green areas and increased animal and plant biodiversity:
this means that the new park must be characterized by simple and inexpensive maintenance, the green must be designed with species of easy adaptability, little demanding in water and fertilizers.
Creating those sensations given by colors and perfumes, with the consequence of attracting a fauna
variegated that will make the park “live”.
Think of strengthening the integration of the new park according to the historical center of Roccadaspide, with a review of the existing road layout, the distribution of the spaces of existing parking, also depending on the need to build an area used as a market discovered.
Create a public square intended as a fulcrum and living space, adequate and equipped for public events and a playground area for children.
Think of a multi-purpose indoor space that is appropriately usable for the public events, through flexible solutions able to host temporary events, market Inter-communal coverage of craft and ethnic products and social meeting functions.
Opt for design solutions that result in reduced maintenance costs through use of materials and construction techniques that take into account durability over time, savings energy and environmental sustainability.

AWARDS

The total amount of the prize is equal to € 5,000.00 as expense reimbursement.
(€ 3,000.00 to the first classified, € 1,500.00, to the second classified and € 500.00 to the third classified)
With the payment of the premium the Administration acquires ownership of the feasibility project
technical and economic value of the winner, (gross of VAT and social security contributions).
