PENTAWARDS 2018

 

 

BRIEF

Pentawards is a worldwide competition with entries accepted internationally. All works presented must have been created or produced (launched) since 1 January 2017, in any country whatever. A physical package must be available (produced) before 1 June 2018.

Unpublished prototypes and speculative or unpublished creations are not accepted (expect for CONCEPT categories).

By entering the competition the candidates assign to Pentawards the publication rights for the works submitted, in whatever form: real, printed, televisual or digital, including on the Internet and the future book “The Package Design Book” for which they agree to paid €125 for technical fee by winning design published. The candidates agree to take responsibility for any claims made against Pentawards – and/or its affiliated companies – in the event of disputes or litigation with possible claimants or others. Pentawards cannot be held responsible for any problem of reproduction and/or designation of the works.

AWARDS

Diamond Pentaward

The winner of the sole and unique Diamond Pentaward, Best of the Show, will get:

* A personal invitation to attend, free of charge, the official Pentawards Ceremony and the cocktail party/dinner that will follow.
* The superb and unique “Diamond Trophy”
* An official certificate

*The winning design will be presented in the Pentawards World Tour. The tour will be exclusively featured at ADF&PCD and Packaging Innovations exhibitions worldwide.

The Diamond Pentaward winner will receive, in addition to his trophy, a multi-year license to the amazing Esko 3D Packaging Design software (value: over 5.000,- Euro).

Platinum Pentawards

Each of the winners of the 5 Platinum Pentawards, Best of the 5 major categories (Beverages, Food, Body, Other markets & Luxury) will get:

* A personal invitation to attend, free of charge, the official Pentawards Ceremony and the cocktail party/dinner that will follow.
* A “Platinum Trophy”
* An official certificate

*The winning designs will be presented in the Pentawards World Tour. The tour will be exclusively featured at ADF&PCD and Packaging Innovations exhibitions worldwide.

Gold Pentawards

* A “Gold Trophy”
* An official certificate
If they are not able to attend on that evening, they can order (purchase) their trophy from the Pentawards site. The certificate will be sent to them free of charge.

Silver Pentawards

* A “Silver Trophy”
* An official certificate
If they are not able to attend on that evening, they can order (purchase) their trophy from the Pentawards site. The certificate will be sent to them free of charge.

Bronze Pentawards

* A “Bronze Trophy”
* An official certificate
If they are not able to attend on that evening, they can order (purchase) their trophy from the Pentawards site. The certificate will be sent to them free of charge.

Nominations
* An official certificate will be sent to them free of charge.

All winners will be presented on the Pentawards site with a link to their respective sites.

All winners of the Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze Pentawards will be featured in “The Package Design Book #5” which will be published by TASCHEN and be available as of November 2018 (TBC) (technical fee contribution of €125 by winning design)
