1. Introduction
The landscape and architectural design competition aims to recover the area of the former castle garden in Nové Dvory, Czech Republic, with the goal of restoring the dialogue between the complex’s historic baroque composition and the needs of contemporary life.
2. Presentation
The competition is open and will be conducted in a single phase. Documentation must be submitted by September 3, 2026. The objective is to create a usable, sustainable, and multifunctional public space designed for culture, education, relaxation, and community gathering.
3. About the Project
The intervention area includes the castle garden, adjacent to the castle building and the Dominican monastery with the Church of St. Anne. The project must balance preservation and innovation, restoring the spatial and compositional links with the castle and the town center.
