Museum of Emotions Annual International Architecture Competition

1. Introduction
The “Museum of Emotions” is an international architecture competition that aims to explore the relationship between architecture and emotions. The objective is to design a museum featuring two exhibition halls that evoke opposing emotions — one intended to induce negative emotions and another designed to inspire positive emotions.
2. Presentation
The competition is organized by Buildner and is part of a strategic partnership with ArchDaily. The competition is open to everyone, with no professional qualifications required. Design proposals may be developed individually or by teams of up to four members.
3. About the Project
The project consists of designing a museum with two exhibition halls that evoke contrasting emotions. Participants are free to choose which emotions they wish to inspire through their designs, ranging from fear and anger to love and joy. The objective is to use architecture as a tool for creating emotional states, considering aspects such as spatial scale, movement through space, color, lighting, and material selection.
