International Competition for Development of the Architectural and Artistic Concept

“Nagatinsky zaton”

“Klenoviy bulvar”

BRIEF

The main objective of the Competition is to find the unique architectural-artistic solutions for interiors of passenger areas and entrance halls of the two new metro stations – “Nagatinsky zaton” and “Klenoviy bulvar”.

Principal design solution must include a proposal on materials, lighting and non-bearing structures of the stations.

SCHEDULE

November 22 – Start of the competition. Press conference
Until January 10, 2018 – Receiving Applications
December 5 – Project seminar for the Competition Participants
January 22 – Jury session. Selection of Finalists
January 23 – Presentation of a detailed technical assignment for Finalists
January 25 – Introductory seminar for the Competition Finalists participated by the Customer’s and Organizing Committee’s representatives
Until March 1, 2018 – Submission of Proposals by Finalists
March 13 – The Jury meeting; selection of the best Proposals to determine the Winners within the Active Citizen Project
April 17 – Selection of the winners of the Active Citizen Project by voting on the Active Citizen Project.

   

AWARDS

The winners of the competition will be the authors of the best concepts (one per each station) that will be chosen during the voting at the Active Citizen Project out of the 3 best concepts (per station) selected by the final Jury.

The Organizer pays each Finalist four hundred thousand (400,000) rubles (including all taxes and fees applicable to the Finalist). Remuneration includes:
•the remuneration to the Finalist in the amount of one thousand (1,000) rubles (including all taxes and fees applicable to the Finalist) for the alienation in favor of the Organizer of the exclusive rights provided by the Articles 1229 and 1270 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, including the right to rework the project;
•compensation for all costs of the Finalist for the preparation and submission of the Proposal in the amount of three hundred and ninety-nine thousand (399,000) rubles (including all taxes and fees applicable to the Finalist). The Organizer pays the remuneration to the Finalists not earlier than thirty (30) working days after the announcement of the Competition results.
