International Competition “The city is…”
BRIEF
We invite filmmakers from around the world to participate in the international competition “The City is …”, by sending audiovisual works – shorts and feature films – whose theme is the city, the urban environment and the architecture of buildings or cities, in the categories documentary, fiction, experimental and architecture filming. The festival will also award a special mention to the “best Chilean short film” and “best Chilean feature film.”
Those interested should send their works before July 20th, 2018. The winners will receive the festival’s award, a certificate from the organization and will be selected to be exhibited at another film and architecture festival that takes place in the period 2018-2020, anywhere in the world.
The jury will consist of architect and cultural manager Pola Mora (ArchDaily); documentary maker Tiziana Panizza (Visual Letters, 2005-2011, Earth in Motion, 2014, and Tierra Sola, 2017); and LaFuga.cl founder Carolina Urrutia (2 Centrifugal Cinema: Chilean Fictions 2005-2010 “).
