BRIEF
During the Lab you can create a show for this concept! Realizations with performance, incorporating more space beyond the facade are very welcome. There are variety of musicians, costumes and dancers in Weimar that we would be happy to set you in contact with.
It’s end of April, Weimar, 11:58 PM, I step onto the courtyard. No one seems to be there. I move forward, guided only by the moonlight lightening the yard. I look at the egg-shaped sculpture. Moving closer I get the urge to touch its marble surface. I reach out my hand and touch the sculpture as suddenly it begins to glow. The scene seems to spin around me and suddenly, its August and it all begins.
With a 30 second video clip we want to see how you handle given materials and make sure you are good to go for a live performance.
We provide you with a 3D model of Prof. Hubert Schiefelbeins sculpture “the bathing woman”. She has been bathing here for quite some time now. Take her out, maybe to the cafeteria? I personally believe that there is some kind of secret button on the egg…what would happen of someone dared to press it? But you know what, that’s probably all myths and legends…
