Gardenista Awards

 

BRIEF

We are now accepting entries to the 2018 Considered Design Awards. You have three weeks—from June 1 until midnight Pacific on June 22—to submit your projects in any of the following six Gardenista categories. (Visit Remodelista for their seven contest categories.) One contest category is for amateur garden designers, one contest category is for professional designers, and all other categories are open to everyone:

  • Best Amateur Garden
  • Best Professional Landscape
  • Best Outdoor Living Space
  • Best Curb Appeal 
  • Best Hardscape Project 
  • Best Edible Garden 

Read our Rules & FAQs before you prepare your entry, which should include a title and short description of your project, up to 10 images, a caption for each image, and any credits to photographers or other key contributors. You may submit multiple projects into any categories for which you qualify.

 

SCHEDULE

Submission Deadline by Midnight PDT: June 22
Finalists Announced & Voting Begins: July 10
Reader Voting Ends: August 4
Winners Announced: August 7

 

AWARDS

$500 Gift Card Prize

The winner of each category will get a $500 gift card to shop Schoolhouse, online or in stores. Winning projects will be covered with full project profiles on our sites, and professional winners will gain automatic entry into the Remodelista and Gardenista Architect/Designer Directory.
