Bolzano – A Pavilion for Area A7 of NOI Techpark (Art, Culture, Science, and Technology)
1. Introduction
The architectural design competition “Bolzano – A Pavilion for Area A7 of NOI Techpark” is an opportunity for architects and designers to propose a permanent pavilion dedicated to culture and science in the A7 area of NOI Techpark, in Bolzano.
2. Presentation
NOI Techpark is a technology park hosting over 70 innovative companies and startups, 4 research institutes, and 3 faculties of the Free University of Bolzano. The competition aims to strengthen its strategic role as a platform for research, innovation, and regional development.
3. About the Project
The pavilion should function as a hybrid space connecting art, culture, science, and technology, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and experimentation.
The program includes:
- A foyer with cloakroom
- A performance hall for lectures, shows, concerts, film screenings, and exhibitions
- Two “artist-in-residence” spaces for workshops and educational activities
