ATLANTE ARCHITETTURE CONTEMPORANEE ITALIANE

 

BRIEF

The Directorate General for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Peripherals, on the occasion of the European Year of Heritage 2018 has launched a public procedure to finance a cultural project that promotes the enhancement of the contents of the site  http://architetturecontemporanee.beniculturali.it/architetture  related to the National Census of Italian architecture of the late twentieth century. All public and private operators active in the field of modern and contemporary Italian architecture will be able to apply.
The project envisages the development of a new website that favors the adoption and use of the results of the National Census by all stakeholders, to facilitate the dissemination of research results to a wider audience, including those who insiders.
The announcement also provides for the integration of contents with 100 short reports of contemporary architectures representative of the entire national territory, each consisting of 5-10 photographs.

Announcement is aimed at candidates (single or grouped in groups / groups) that have the following requisites at the date of publication of the call for proposals:
– be an Italian citizen;
– be active in the specific field of modern and contemporary architecture;
– have at least one communication project on the topics of modern and contemporary architecture (in the case of groups or groups, all the members of the group must possess the requisites indicated above and their data must be clearly indicated in the application form ).
The proposal must be accompanied by a comprehensive report, aimed at describing the project proposal. This proposal may concern, by way of example, the following areas:


Atlas of architectures

• Multilevel maps
• Visual notebooks

Paths

• Itineraries of modern and contemporary architecture;
• Thematic itineraries (taking into account places, authors, use, communities)
• Historical and social itineraries
• Illustrated routes


Participation

• Multimedia storytelling
• Construction of shared knowledge (itineraries in neighborhoods, interactive exhibits, etc.)
• Insights on public space
and must respond to the objectives and the purpose of the project.
