Design for Business
BRIEF
We host two annual student competitions designed to include students throughout their training:
Student Competition for Third Year Students and Graduates
‘Design for Business’ provides a link into industry independence as a professional. Students submit their final year project for a chance to receive a £30,000 cash prize; enabling a student to pay off their debt, establish a business or create their idea for a commercial venture. Design for Business is open to UK students, from 2019 the competition will be open to European students also.
Our new SBID student competition, Designed for Business, has launched this year 19th April 2018 in collaboration with Be Open. This competition open to all students pursuing the creative industries across the categories of interior design, fashion design, art and design, product design and interior decoration. Students must be in their third or masters year of study and be enrolled at an officially recognised degree-awarding institution throughout the UK.

AWARDS
One Overall Winner receives the cash prize of £30,000.
