RADO STAR PRIZE UK 2018
BRIEF
Rado is inviting young designers in the UK to respond to the theme ‘On Time / Time Off’.
The theme explores two different ways design can improve life: by supporting busy, fast-paced habits and punctuality; or by allowing us to slow down, relax and create our own space.
Rado is searching for innovative, cutting-edge design pieces that relate to either ‘On Time’, ‘Time Off’; or explore the relationship between them. This could be in either a conceptual sense or material approach. Product concepts will be considered from the fields of interior, product, industrial and technology design.

Competition opens on Wednesday 25th April 2018
Closing date for entries is Wednesday 23rd May 2018

AWARDS
First Prize: The Judges’ Winner & Winner of the Rado Star Prize UK 2018 receives a cash prize of £5’000 GBP and a Rado watch.
Second Prize: The Public Vote Winner wins a Rado watch
