CCC Emerging Design Awards 2026
Introduction
The Canadian Creators Collective (CCC) launches the CCC Emerging Design Awards 2026, an award for young Canadian designers. The objective is to provide meaningful opportunities for young designers, including presenting their work to the broader design community, exhibiting their projects, connecting with the industry, and expanding their professional networks.
Presentation
The award recognizes the challenges faced by young Canadian designers when establishing their careers. The CCC Emerging Design Awards 2026 aims to provide a platform for young designers to showcase their talent and skills, receive industry recognition, and gain access to more opportunities, such as grants, residencies, and international awards.
About the Project
The award consists of five categories: Form-giving, Spatiality, In the Ether, Future-building, and Student Award. Winners will be selected by a jury composed of internationally recognized professionals. The award is open to individual designers and teams, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

- May 1 to June 30, 2026: Registration open
- July 2026: Selection of winners
- August 2026: Announcement of winners

- 1st place: CAD $0 (title of Emerging Designer of 2026, trophy, and digital badge)
- 2nd place: CAD $0 (booth at Studio North during IDS 2027)
- 3rd place: CAD $0 (promotion across Canada)
- Student Award: CAD $0 (title of Emerging Designer of 2026, trophy, and digital badge)
- Best Overall: CAD $0 (title of Emerging Designer of 2026, trophy, and digital badge)
Jury
The jury is composed of five internationally recognized professionals, including designers and supporting actors from the media and PR industry. The jury members are:
