Re:Form – New Life for Old Spaces International Architecture Competition
1. Introduction
The Re:Form – New Life for Old Spaces competition is an opportunity for architects, designers, and innovators to reimagine existing spaces by giving them new purpose and relevance. The competition seeks to explore the idea of “The Contemporary House” and encourage the adaptation of existing spaces to meet current needs.
2. Presentation
The competition is open to everyone, with no professional qualification requirements. Participants may choose any existing structure, regardless of its condition, use, abandonment, or neglect. The objective is to transform a limited space into something innovative and impactful.
3. About the Project
Re:Form is a strategic partnership between Buildner and ArchDaily aimed at exploring the concept of “The Contemporary House.” The competition encourages the adaptation of existing spaces to meet present-day demands while promoting sustainability, functionality, and design excellence.
4. Schedule
- April 23 to July 2: Early registration period with 4.5% VAT discount
- July 3 to September 10: Regular registration period
- After September 10: No new questions will be answered

- 1st Place: €10,000
- 2nd Place: €5,000
- 3rd Place: €5,000
- 4th Place: €2,500
- 5th Place: €2,500
- 6th Place: €1,000
