The competition is organized by Buildner in partnership with ArchDaily and aims to explore the idea of “The Contemporary House.” The project is located in a rural area in northern Portugal, near Braga and the Cávado River.

The project was initiated by a family that wishes to open its private space to others, transforming it into a place of sharing and experience. The objective is to create a restaurant that fosters connection and togetherness, where food becomes a collective and meaningful ritual.
