The competition is an opportunity for architects and designers across Southeast Asia to showcase their projects that use high-quality, sustainable, and durable steel capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions and becoming regional benchmarks.
3. About the Project
The competition is organized by BlueScope and aims to recognize excellence in architectural projects that utilize high-quality, sustainable, and durable steel. Projects are evaluated by a panel of international judges who consider criteria such as design, innovation, sustainability, and durability.
4. Schedule
- April 2026: Registration opens for ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam).
- August–September 2026: Announcement of winners in each country and selection of ASEAN finalists.
- November 2026: ASEAN awards ceremony in Bangkok.
5. Awards
Winners will receive a trophy, a certificate, and a fully funded one-week trip to Australia to share their experiences and learn from other industry professionals.
6. Jury
The judging panel is composed of architects and high-quality steel specialists who will evaluate the projects based on design, innovation, sustainability, and durability criteria.
