Architecture Competition for the New Headquarters of the CMC

Introduction

The National Public Architecture Competition is an opportunity for the Curitiba City Council (CMC) to find an innovative and sustainable architectural project for the new headquarters of the Legislative Branch. The competition seeks to create an urban facility open to the city, encouraging social interaction, institutional transparency, and closer ties between the Legislative Branch and the population.

Presentation

The competition is promoted in partnership with the Curitiba Institute for Urban Research and Planning (IPPUC) and the Brazilian Institute of Architects – Paraná Department (IAB-PR). The Curitiba City Council is composed of 38 councilors and a technical staff made up of civil servants, appointed positions, and parliamentary advisors.
