Competition for ideas for the redevelopment of the port of Stintino

AIMS

The object of the present Competition of ideas is the acquisition of ideational proposals relating to the construction of the redevelopment works of the port of Stintino and the redefinition of the water-front of the historic village, with the identification of a winner, to whom, after obtaining the necessary financial resources, the Administration reserves the right to entrust, with a negotiated procedure without tender, the subsequent phases of the design.

The competition of ideas is aimed at identifying an ideational proposal related to the waterfront portion of the historic city center facing East and the identification of solutions for the organization and redevelopment of the port area, understood as an organic whole of the infrastructure port and village.
In particular, the competitor is asked to identify the most suitable solutions for the creation of a new tourist ferry pier for the island of Asinara, the piers and walkways connecting the existing infrastructures, the pavilions and the service buildings to the activities ports, accessibility systems, parking, sustainable mobility, relations with the road network of the historic village, functional connections with the three different portions of which the port is composed.
