5th edition of That’s a Mole!

International Illustration Contest

 

BRIEF

Since the 12th of March 2018 it will be possible to participate in the 5th edition of That’s a Mole!, the International Illustration Contest, designed to promote the most innovative and creative visual interpretations of the city of Turin’s symbol: the Mole Antonelliana.

That’s a Mole! contest is a creation of That’s a Mole Association and is promoted and supported by Fondazione Contrada Torino Onlus and Fondazione Casa di Carità Arti e Mestieri.

The contest is open to everybody, with no age limit, and it is possible to participate individually or collectively. Participants are requested to create an illustration, a graphic interpretation or a decorative pattern inside the shape of the Mole Antonelliana monument.

A qualified jury will select 29 proposals, which will be exhibited in front of Mole Antonelliana (Via Montebello, Turin) from June to September 2018.

SCHEDULE

Deadline for applications: 28th of April 2018.

AWARDS

The winning proposal of the contest that will be awarded a prize of €1.000 (One thousand Euro)

– €250(two hundred and fifty Euro) ‘Social communication’ Special Prize awarded by Casa di Carità Arti e Mestieri, in the context of the project “In Pro.va – Probation valida alternativa: sanzioni di comunità oltre il carcere”

– €250(two hundred and fifty Euro) ‘Fermitutti’ Special Prize awarded by the National Institute for Nuclear Physics, Section of Turin, in the context of the celebrations for the 10th anniversary of NASA’s satellite Fermi

– Special Mentions awarded by supporters and institutions.

FEES

The participation fee, regardless the number of submitted proposals (maximum 3)
will be €10 but for the ‘Educational section’, which is free.
