2026 Student Competition – InfraVision Think Tank

1. Introduction

The InfraVision Think Tank competition is an opportunity for students from various fields, such as architecture, urban planning, engineering, complex systems, economics, public policy, and computer science, to come together and present their innovative ideas for infrastructure projects that are resilient, adaptable, and sustainable in a constantly changing world.

2. Presentation

The competition is organized by InfraVision, a think tank founded by Vauban IP, with the support of Altermind. The objective is to foster fruitful discussions among infrastructure stakeholders on constantly evolving infrastructure topics.

3. About the Project

The competition is inspired by the theme “Infrastructure as a System” and seeks to reimagine infrastructure for a world affected by climate pressures, technological challenges, regulatory shifts, and changing demands. Students have the opportunity to tackle complex problems by applying their skills, knowledge, and imagination.

4. Schedule

  • April 2026: Call for proposals opens;
  • July 31, 2026, 23:59 (CET): Submission deadline for proposals;
  • November 3, 2026: Announcement of results during Paris Infraweek 2026.

5. Prizes

  • 1st place: 7,000 euros;
  • 2nd place: 5,000 euros;
  • 3rd place: 3,000 euros.

6. Jury

The jury is composed of renowned experts, led by architect Sadie Morgan, founder of the Quality of Life Foundation, alongside other recognized public figures.
